Callowell is an inclusive and caring primary school where we work hard every day to nurture and inspire all our children.
The school has fantastic facilities and great staff. We have a thriving pre school that takes children for 2 yrs and we offer a broad and exciting curriculum for all. We believe our school, set in beautiful and spacious grounds, is just the right size to get to know all of our pupils and families. Callowell is a member of the Cotswold Beacon Academy Trust (CBAT), a Stroud based family of schools with the shared vision of providing high quality education for all.
Since my appointment in July 2024, I have been hugely impressed by the dedication and skills of the team here. We are rightly very proud of our school and the quality of education and care we offer.

At Jumping Beans Preschool, we offer care and education for all children aged 2 to 4 years 11 months in a safe, fun, caring learning environment where they can explore, grow and shine.
Our trust is made up of 57 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 33,000 pupils across the country – from Middlesbrough in the north to Devon in the west, Essex in the east and the Isle of Wight in the south. The majority of our schools are rated ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
